Charlotte Woolley

Charlotte Woolley is currently finishing a DPhil in Laser Physics at Keble College, where she also completed her undergraduate degree. She began playing the clarinet at school and has studied with Phillip Lee in Northampton. While at Oxford she was awarded an instrumental scholarship by Keble and has been an enthusiastic supporter of student music across the university. For several years she has performed regularly with both the Oxford University Orchestra and the Oxford Millennium Orchestra, as well as with the chamber woodwind ensemble Prospero.

Charlotte also enjoys solo performance and joined Keble College Orchestra for Weber’s second clarinet concerto, and the Oxford Millennium Orchestra in Mozart’s clarinet concerto at the Sheldonian Theatre. She has been delighted to play with Spezzati since its foundation, joining them in performances of Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante, Spohr’s Nonet and Finzi’s clarinet concerto.
